Thank you for visiting and shopping at The Scented Journey Below are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Lost or Stolen Packages

1 Once an order has been transferred to the designated shipping carrier, risk of loss and title pass to the customer. The Scented Journey shall not be held liable for packages that are lost, stolen, or delayed while in the possession of the carrier.

2 In the event of a lost or stolen package, the customer must first contact the shipping carrier directly to initiate an investigation. Following this, the customer must notify The Scented Journey at info@thescentedjourney.ca providing the order number and details of the claim.

3 Refunds, replacements, or store credits for lost or stolen packages are not guaranteed. Any remedy will be considered strictly on a case-by-case basis and granted solely at the discretion of The Scented Journey.


Processing Time

  • Order Processing: Orders are processed within 1-2 business days depending on size of order or ongoing promotions/Sales could take up to 4 business days. 
  • Business Days: Processing excludes weekends and public holidays.
  • Delays: If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, processing times may be delayed. We will notify you via email if there are significant delays.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

  • Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and are based on your location, order weight, and shipping method.
  • Estimated delivery times:
    • Standard Shipping: 5-7 business days
    • Expedited Shipping: 2-3 business days
    • International Shipping: 7-14 business days
  • Please note that delivery delays can occasionally occur due to factors outside our control, such as customs processing, labour disruptions or weather disruptions.

Shipping Locations

  • Domestic Shipping: We ship within Canada
  • International Shipping: We currently ship to United States and Europe. Please note, international orders may be subject to customs duties and fees, which are the responsibility of the customer. 

Order Tracking

  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to update.

Lost or Stolen Packages Policy

At The Scented Journey, we take great care in preparing and shipping your order. Once a package has been handed over to the shipping carrier, it becomes the responsibility of the carrier.

If your package is lost, delayed, or stolen during transit:

  1. Please contact the shipping carrier directly to open an investigation regarding your shipment.

  2. After opening a case with the carrier, notify our team at info@thescentedjourney.ca with your order details so we can assist where possible.

Please note: The Scented Journey is not liable for packages lost, stolen, or delayed once they are in the possession of the shipping carrier.


 

  • Damaged Packages: If your package arrives damaged, please notify us within 3 business days of delivery. Include photos of the damage, and we will assist with a replacement or refund if approved.
